In compliance with the federal Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act of 1998, the University Police Department at Buffalo State is notifying the campus community of a reported sexual assault that occurred in an unspecified campus parking lot Friday afternoon. University Police was notified of the incident this evening via a submission to the department’s sexual assault anonymous online reporting form.
According to the anonymous report, a female commuter student stated that she was the victim of a sexual assault in an unspecified campus parking lot Friday afternoon around 1:00 p.m. The report notes that the suspect is described as a white male and was a stranger to the victim. Because of the nature of the anonymous online reporting system, no other details are available at this time.
