Find the Blue Light phones on campus: Download the Blue Light Phone map (PDF, 650 KB).
The Blue Light Telephone System increases safety and prevents crime by enabling people to reach the University Police quickly from 44 locations around campus. The phones are easy to find: A blue light is located above the phone unit, which features a red emergency button as well as a dialing pad. University Police can identify the caller's location immediately.
The blue-light phones are located in parking lots, on walkways, along roadways, outside classroom buildings and residence halls, and inside certain buildings such as E. H. Butler Library and Upton Hall. Some blue-light phones are marked to serve as stops for the escort van.
